Doris Hellermann

Pelican Realty is owned and operated by Realtor Doris Hellermann, a resident of Cedar Key since 1979. Born in Pennsylvania, she moved to Florida in 1967 to attend graduate school at the University of Florida in Gainesville. In 1979, she drove to Cedar Key for a six-month vacation and never left.

In addition to her full-time responsibilities as a Realtor, Doris is active in community affairs. She served as the president of the Cedar Key Area Chamber of Commerce for three years. She has been secretary and president of the local Board of Realtors. She is secretary to the Cedar Key Historical Society. She has served on the Cedar Key Historic Preservation/Architectural Review Board and the Cedar Key Land Development Regulations Commission. She is a past Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Levy County Housing Authority.
